Fawlty Towers
Our Latest Release for Saxophone Quartet
Dennis Wilson’s theme tune to the BBC SitCom ‘Fawlty Towers’, written and starring John Cleese and Connie Booth, is a masterpiece.
Using a string quartet to represent a fading seaside hotel, slightly out of synch with the world around it and with a bizarre collection of staff and residents.
This arrangement, for Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Baritone Sax, features the main theme and the less well known variations upon it.
A version for Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax and Trombone is also available from Sheet Music Plus
Blue Peter Theme Added
Barnacle Bill by H Ashworth-Hope is an instantly recognised melody for generations of people in the UK. It has been used as the signature tune to Blue Peter, the longest-running children’s TV show in the world.
This lively arrangement for Wind Quintet features the upper woodwind sharing the main melody between them. The lower parts have their moment with the second theme before the recapitulation of the tune.
Also available is an arrangement for Clarinet, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Euphonium and Keyboard (strings).
